On May 15, 2025, the Special Cement Branch of China Cement Association convened the Anti-Involution Conference for White Cement Enterprises in Hefei, Anhui Province. Representatives from more than 30 white cement enterprises across the country gathered to discuss core industry issues such as overcapacity, market shrinkage, and uneven product quality. As a leading domestic white cement enterprise and a national-level “Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative” enterprise, Jiangxi Yinshan Supermaterials Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend, offering practical models for the industry’s transformation through technological innovation and global layout practices.
The conference clearly put forward five high-quality development requirements, including establishing common industry values, building a unified national price system, and increasing investment in technological innovation. Wu Feilong, founder of Yinshan Supermaterials, stated at the meeting that the core crux of industry involution lies in low-level homogeneous competition. Only by building barriers with technology and expanding tracks through innovation can enterprises achieve sustainable development. It is reported that relying on independently developed clinker particle classification composite bleaching technology, Yinshan Supermaterials has become the only white cement enterprise in China to realize waste heat power generation, saving over 20 million yuan in electricity costs annually. Its 92-Hunter white high-end white cement has completely broken the monopoly of foreign brands in the domestic high-end market.
As a revising unit of national white cement standards, Yinshan Supermaterials has built a diversified product system covering high-end white cement, UHPC, inorganic radiative cooling cement, etc., boasting 54 patented technologies and high-level R&D platforms such as an academician workstation. With an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons, the company’s products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions, making it a leading enterprise in domestic white cement exports. It also provides core supply services for well-known enterprises such as Saint-Gobain and Oriental Yuhong.
In response to the structural adjustment requirements proposed at the conference, Yinshan Supermaterials revealed that it is accelerating the construction of a white cement new materials industrial park, focusing on segments such as high-end inorganic terrazzo and weak magnetic cement, with the goal of building leading brands in multiple categories. Wu Feilong emphasized that the company will continue to deepen industry-university-research cooperation with universities such as Tongji University, promoting the industry’s shift from “price competition” to “value competition” through talent training and technological breakthroughs.
The convening of this conference has pointed out the direction for the standardized development of the white cement industry. Yinshan Supermaterials’ development path centered on technological innovation, green production, and global layout is providing replicable practical experience for the industry to combat involution and improve quality and efficiency, helping China’s white cement industry step into a new stage of high-quality development.
